2012年，日本30~45岁女性未婚率再创新高，而在这个群体中，有一部分人则抱定了不结婚的信念生活。年届35岁的旅行社合同工田中千春（菅野美穗 饰）自5年前平平淡淡结束一段恋情以来，似乎始终没找到结婚的感觉和动力；44岁的庭园设计师桐岛春子（天海祐希 饰）曾与上司有过不伦之恋，但她始终坚定作一个事业至上的不婚主义者；32岁的花店职员工藤纯平（玉木宏 饰）一直认为结婚后会失去更多空闲时间，温柔亲和的他乐得单身，悠闲自在。在命运的驱使下这三个人相识相知，可是婚活战线、工作调动、旧日梦想让他们重新审视各自的人生选择。
