导演彼得·耶茨和编剧史蒂夫·特西契继合作出光芒四射的《突破》后，却不料合作出这部失败之作。剧情介绍一名大厦门警为了追求他迷上的电视女记者竟然伪称他知道发生在大厦内的一件凶杀案内幕，并可帮女记者获得独家新闻，不料二人却因此卷入重重危机之中。影片尽管有威廉·赫特、西格尼·韦弗等名角的倾力合作，但剧情推展混乱而乏神彩，缺乏惊险悬念性，可欣赏性有限。该片对电视传播新闻的指责也说不出所以然，仅有部分片段尚可观。。It’s summer and a group of young women head off for a week to a house in the country in order to rehearse a play.
