本片讲述明朝初期，锦衣卫小旗赤兔护送梅妃出宫陷入危机，暂避于羊村后意外与羊村女侠阿朵及百姓结盟；在倭寇来袭时共同抵御侵略，为帮助百姓夺回家园，保卫国家领土完整而浴血奋战的故事。。一个足智多谋的美国海军陆战队员在伊拉克受伤后退役，他收拾行李来到美国西南部打算访问他的朋友。可是当他来到朋友住的地方却发现朋友人间蒸发了，而且周围的人都不约而同地说从没见过他的朋友……。Joseph Fulton, a well-regarded fifty-eight-year-old director of romantic comedies, wants to become assistant groundskeeper at a local cemetery.
