春秋战国时代的鲁班是一个能工巧匠，也是传说中的“木匠之祖”。鲁班经过四川某地，看到河上正在建造一座的大石桥。负责设计建造大桥的赵掌墨师，粗心大意，设计上有失误，致使桥身不能合拢。鲁班凿下一块大石头，送给买不起嫁衣的穷姑娘翠儿，并要她在石桥合拢的时候拿出石头。翠儿依言而行，既使大桥造成，又解决了自己的嫁妆。鲁班又路过江南某地，碰到造宗庙的工程。但设计造庙的张掌墨师对于用黄荆树做正梁、朱砂石做亭盖的要求非常发愁。鲁班想出了“鲁抬梁”、“土堆亭”的办法，帮助他解决了难题，建成了宗庙。皇帝要求造出四座有九根梁、十八根柱、七十二条脊的宫城角楼，许多掌墨师都因无法达到要求而被杀。鲁班听说这件事，冥思苦想，终于找到了办法。他请巧儿姑娘按自己的要求用麦秸秆编出一个蝈蝈笼，然后送给正为工程烦恼不已的李掌墨师。李掌墨师看到蝈蝈笼后得到启发，顺利建成角楼。。After surgery glamorous actress, Veronica Ghent, travels with her nurse, Desi, to the remote highlands in order to attend a healing retreat.
