本片讲述了洪有田下海经商包工被骗致使血本无归并遭到乡亲们的埋怨与追债，从此一蹶不振，并常常借酒消愁。妻子王桂花因无法忍受其恶习，决定带着女儿离家出走。书记梁大鹏在了解到洪有田家里的情况后，帮助他重新振作。最后，经过梁书记的调解，洪有田与妻子破镜重圆……。This would definitely not have been my kind of movie, but my husband saw it on TV and said it was really good. So, on his recommendation, I bought a copy, since I didn't know if it would ever be on TV again. I had never heard of anybody in it except Armand Assante. At first I had a hard time getting into the story, because the first part of the movie is a jumble of images-- and...。
