The absurdities of the plot, the sequoia-like quality of the acting and the prevalence of historical,musical and linguis...。故事发生在明朝年间，一桩血腥的灭门惨案震惊了京城，惨案中唯一幸存的是富翁周葵富（闵政 饰）的女儿采儿（王莎莎 饰）。临死之前，周葵富给了采儿一枚柳哨，让她投奔天下镖局的王振威（周群达 饰），希望王振威能够护送采儿回到山西老家，向家族长老们揭露事件的真相。
原来，这一切的幕后黑手正是采儿的继母玉观音（孟广美 饰），她的所谓意在侵吞周葵富的全部财产。途中，采儿幸运的偶遇了亦要前往山西的王振威，采儿女扮男装，一老一少结伴而行。哪知道一路上危险不断，层出不穷的刺客纷纷将矛头指向了采儿。最终，两人顺利的抵达了目的地，没想到却落入了玉观音设下的又一个圈套之中。。
