本影片由原班人马打造的喜剧电影主要讲述了成功企业家郑向阳回归家乡投资建厂，想为逝世多年的母亲办一场隆重的追思会，蔡有才独特的策划方案赢得了郑向阳的赏识，但举办前却出现了各种意外，由此展开的一系列啼笑皆非的故事。。Birdcatcher Esmar and his wife Johanna face eviction from their farm in Gásadalur unless they have a son. Desperation sets in when Johanna gives birth to their third daughter. Pushed to the brink, Johanna is impregnated by another man, a French Captain, and gives birth to a son, known as ‘the birdcatcher’s son’.
