Set in 1863, Count Magnus tells the tale of the inquisitive Mr. Wraxhall who becomes fascinated by the long-dead founder of a Swedish family, who once made a strange journey to the Holy Land – on most unholy business。Damien and Nadia, in their thirties, are leaving Paris with Chloé, their 8 year old daughter, to settle in the French provinces. Damien is a graphic designer who negotiated a full-time remote working to follow his partner, who has just been offered a position at the Institut de Recherche Rivière, where she would work with her friend Marion.
